Chapter 26 - Martial Realm Academy

Cyrus and his group arrived through the teleportation portal and looked around. They were in Martial Realm City!

It was a reasonably large city with a uniform style throughout its buildings, with plenty of plants and trees intermingling with the buildings, making the city very beautiful indeed.

"Well no matter. I will arrange for you to attend the classes here, as well as arrange your living accommodations" he continued.

"This is Carolyn. He will lead you to your room, and help you acclimatize to this place. Our style of teaching is quite different from that at Miranda's academy" Shazam smiled.

"Carolyn, this is Doom. I hope you will make him feel welcome here" Shazam asked.

Cyril nodded as Carolyn led him out of the Dean's office.

"So Doom, I really hope you like it here. The classes are held in a large outdoor auditorium where the teachers will teach and the students are allowed to ask questions" she said as she pointed out to an auditorium full of students and a teacher teaching some botany.

"This is very different from my old academy, where the instructors only teach students one on one or in very small groups" Cyrus thought to himself.

As he walked further, he passed several training fields where warriors were training their martial arts. Many of them were sparring and even the mages spared with the warriors.

This was indeed different from his previous academy as there, they were all mages and didn't train warriors.

He was brought to a dormitory. Each room had 10 bunk beds, fitting 20 people in total. He was brought to the last bed by the wall.

"This is your bed" Carolyn smiled as she pointed to the bottom bunk.

"I sleep here?" he asked in a surprised manner. He was used to having his own private room.

"Why, do you want the top bunk? You can switch with me if you want" she said, a bit shocked at how fussy he was.

"Yes. This academy is run like the military. We all sleep together, regardless of gender" she said.

"Unlike other academies, all the mages trained here are warrior mages and must also train physically" she continued.

He didn't take that long as he remembered that there was another class to go to next.
