Chapter 23 - Purchases

Before going to the Martial Realm Academy, he decided that he had some unfinished business to attend to first.

At first, he went shopping, buying new adventuring clothes. All he had on him were Dani's clothes that he had been wearing, as well as his academy robes. The set he bought at Dunfolk were torn up in his battle with the Golden Demon Ape. He also had all the leather clothes made from human skin made in his time with Miranda, but they might be inappropriate outside.

Then he bought a large amount of herbs and ingredients to concoct pills and potions in preparation for the next leg of his journey. He wanted to be prepared as he had left the Abominable Abyss Academy literally without packing and had been on the run ever since.

Since he had time now to shop and make preparations, he thought it best to do so, less he ended up being unprepared again like his adventures with Alyssa and Tyra.

He moved out of the hotel rented a mansion at the edges of town for a week. He would need some privacy to finish his preparations. 

After a week or so of his adventures with both Alyssa and Tyra, Cyrus felt the spirit of Ivy finally merging with the seed inside his body.

His mind entered his body to his prostate where Ivy had her seed planted. It was germinating now and it would probably take a day or two before she emerges, thought Cyrus.

Instead, he spent the days using Theresa's body to make all manners of potions and pills to stock up a supply to be used in trading as well as for emergencies.

Since Ivy was still dormant, Cyrus went back to town to sell some pills and potions. He was already rich and had his wealth from making pills in the academy all stored in one of his storage rings.

However, he found that he could make an even larger fortune here in Grand Mariner. This was because the prices of magical pills and potions were drastically more expensive than in magical academies.

Magic was rarer in the outside world as were magical resources. In comparison, in magical academies, everything and everybody was magical.

He walked around after selling his wares and discovered a slave auction.

The areas in and around Misteria were always at war one way or another. There were too many powerful families, sects, schools, churches and societies that held and employed powerful warriors and magicians, making there be too many conflicting interests with opposing intentions.

This led to regular battles and wars and the result of this is the captured losers are generally sold as slaves. Their memories are erased and they are used for all kinds of purposes including sex slaves, experiment fodder, servants and bodyguards.

Cyrus entered the auction house and wondered to the slave area.

“My name is Nasha. How may we serve you young master? Any thing in particular you are looking for?” asked the auctioneer, who was a lovely brunette dressed in a sexy tight fitting short dress.

Since he had plenty of money, he wanted to upgrade his abilities. Although he could upgrade his seals by killing mages and warriors, he didn't like the idea of killing unnecessarily.

On the other hand, he could also absorb and develop immunity to certain abilities through fucking. So he decided to look for female mages and warriors.

“I am looking for female warriors, fully able bodied” Cyrus responded.


He was led to an area where there were cages of 10 women in each, and they were brought out for him to inspect, 10 at a time. They were all topless and wearing a mere cloth to cover their sexes.

As he inspected them, none of them were interesting to Cyrus. Nearly all of them were only squire levels, and the twenty or so level 1 warriors were not attractive nor powerful enough to interest him.

He was hoping for at least level 2 warriors, but based on these bunch, he could see that they were only the average warriors to be used as bodyguards or lovers.

Most counties only had a level 2 knights or warriors as the top fighters of their countries. A level 3 onwards knight would be knights of legend like magical knights, which all went on to become legends and form sects or martial schools.

Noticing him sighing in disappointment, "Not to your satisfaction? What exactly are you looking for?" Nasha asked.

"I am looking for... special warriors. Out of the ordinary. Maybe even level 2 warriors" he said.

She raised her eyebrows looking at him.

"Level 2 warriors are very rare and would be very hard to capture alive. However, we have 2 slaves that perhaps will interest you" she said as she brought him to a special area.

She showed him two incredibly beautiful girls that looked around 15 years old, with seemingly already developed breasts. Cyrus thought their features looked a bit fey and could be compared to Ivy the Dryad.

Both of them stood still with a frightened look on their faces as they were surrounded by several battle mages.

One of the girls had bright fiery red hair with beautiful sharp features making her look a bit wild. She also had 2 huge fluffy tails.

The other had long black hair and had tanned skin, looking like a ordinary human girl if not for the fact that her tanned skin had a sheen of golden glowing from it under certain lights.

"This girl is named Kitsune, and she is an evolved demon fox of the legends in the Eastern Continent. She was captured in the Eastern Continent just as she evolved from a fox to human. Using our ranking systems, it is estimated she has the destructive power of a level 2 warrior, maybe more." Nasha explained pointing to the first girl with red hair.

"This girl is named Tia and was captured on a raid of the Dragon Clan in the north islands. This is a clan whose ancestor was rumored to be a love child of a human mother and a dragon father who disguised himself as human. The people of that clan have durable bodies and extreme strength." Nasha explained, pointing at the second girl.

"Both girls has had their memories erased and are now totally compliant. The control jade will be given to you to be able to control them and use them as you wish, if you buy them. Are you interested?" she continued.

“I am. How much are they?” asked Cyrus.

“Ahem. Both girls aren’t easy to come by sir. Each of them will cost 1,000,000 gold pieces” she said, sighing that she may not get a sale today.

“Will magic crystals do? I think the exchange will make it 1,000 magic crystals if we take the exchange at 1,000 gold per magic crystal, correct?” Cyrus asked.

“Yes, magic crystals is acceptable. Which one do you want” asked Nasha.

“I want both. How about mages? Do you have female mages?” Cyrus asked as he handed over 2,000 magic crystals to seal the deal for these two first.

She brought him to another room and lined up the mages. There were not as many as the warriors, as mages were still relatively rare as compared to warriors.

Around 30 females walked on, dressed in cloth barely covering their bodies. Mages were obviously rarer to find.

She brought Cyrus through the mages, describing their abilities. However, none of them interested him.

He looked at the acolytes and found one that was particularly pretty brunette and looked around 18 years old. He bought her instead of any of the mages, due to the fact that it appeared she practiced transmutation magic


He walked out to the street and brought his new slaves to his mansion.
